The general requirements for the M.S. in Linguistics include:

Coursework (36 credits)
Foreign Language Proficiency
Master’s Research Paper (MRP)

An M.S. in Computational Linguistics requires 24 credits of coursework instead of 36 and a Master’s Thesis instead of an MRP.
