The Lab for SLA and Task-Based Research
The Lab for SLA and Task-Based Research at Georgetown University provides faculty and graduate students opportunities to explore cognitive and psycholinguistic processes in applied linguistics. Led by Dr. Lara Bryfonski (sla.georgetown.edu ), we are equipped with a Tobii Pro eye-tracker, allowing for precise measurement of visual attention and gaze patterns to support a wide range of experimental designs. Our lab also utilizes E-Prime, galvanic skin response (GSR) sensors, and other psycholinguistic tools to facilitate mixed-methods research on input processing and physiological responses. We encourage you to explore our resources and feel free to reach out with any questions!
