Kylie Lance

Kylie’s interests include institutional discourse, power, identity, and social movements. Prior to her studies at Georgetown, she published work examining the linguistic construction of health risk and responsibility in storefront signage and is expanding on this research in a forthcoming article in Routledge Handbook of Health and Communication. Kylie joined the Sociolinguistics program in the Fall of 2023 after earning a B.A. in Psychology, Language and Social Interaction at City University of New York.
