Dr. Amir Zeldes joins Georgetown Linguistics Department in Fall 2014
The Linguistics Department is pleased to announce that Dr. Amir Zeldes will be joining the faculty as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2014. Dr. Zeldes is a specialist in computational corpus linguistics, with research spanning a wide range of topics in linguistics, including argument structure, syntactic productivity, information structure, and second language acquisition. He is interested in the development of corpora involving data from a wide variety of languages, multilayer corpora, and multifactorial empirical methods. He received his doctorate from the Humboldt University, Berlin, in 2012.
