Heidi Getz participates in Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory course on Genetics & Neurobiology of Language

Heidi Getz was awarded a scholarship to attend a Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory course on Genetics & Neurobiology of Language, organized by David Poeppel, Kate Watkins and Simon Fisher. This weeklong course, attended by 22 students from around the world, comprised 50 hours of talks and two student debates on the neural and genetic bases of language. A diverse range of perspectives on these issues was provided by lecturers with scientific expertise in genetics, animal studies, psycho- and neuro-linguistics, neuropsychology, and developmental and acquired language disorders.
